Gas Station Girl

Stopped in for some Doritos
And a Pepsi for my ride.
Didn't come in here to fall in love
With beautiful bloodshot eyes.
I caught your glance as I cruised the store,
Could not believe what I thought I saw.
Died green hair as you drained a Red Bull,
I come back every day for more.
Gas Station Girl I wish you loved me
From behind your counter there.
I dream about you every night,
That our fountain drink love we'll share.
Drives me crazy when you rolls your eyes
As I pull in to stop and flirt.
Makes my heart beat faster,
You know exactly what I'm worth.
I know you and I could be happy
In the trailer park home we'd keep.
But three feet of linoleum counter top
Is a fortress 'tween you and me.
I wish you'd stop and listen
To what I have to say.
Come out from behind that counter
In my loving arms to stay.
Leave behind the night shift
And that hotdog warmer thing.
There's so much more to livin'
Than countin' out the right change.
Take my hand and don't be scared
As we drive on through the night.
Where is it that you want to go?
Deep breath, now hold on tight!
Gas Station Girl you know I love you,
Fell for you right away.
I'm prob'ly not any different
Than fellers come in here all day.
You hit me like a lighten' bolt,
I'll love you 'til I die.
So take me for my most sincere
As I look deep in your eyes.
