Church

This bar is a cathedral
There's a preacher and a choir.
Holy water we're baptized in,
Salvation and desire.
We are never here alone,
Sinners arrive here every night.
Looking for the way to be set free,
Misguided with delight.
Jesus walks among us,
Prayers that we are saved.
Tears in His eyes because we don't see
The light that shows the way.
We are swaying to the blessings,
Singing in our search.
This is no more than it really is,
Like any other church.
There's a star that hangs
Above the door
Lights the way
No less, no more.
There is a way out
And a way in
Lord forgive
Our time to sin.
